Welcome to the Red Lion Website.

The Red Lion has now been open following its refurbishment for one year.

Your hosts ; Del and George have worked hard, along with our dedicated staff to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for you and your family, friends and colleagues to relax and enjoy a drink and a meal.

In our first year of business we have had two positive reviews which can be seen by following the links opposite, one for our restaurant food and one for our real ale. We have recently been awarded a bronze award by Flintshire County Council as part of the Welsh Food Hygiene award Scheme, for our high standards of hygiene.

Our Chef Steve Agnew has brought a wealth of experience to the kitchen at the Red Lion having worked as a Chef for 23 years.

Along with his two assisstants, Donna Bennett and Jamie Harvey, he has created an extensive and interesting menu. The kitchen team produce meals cooked from locally sourced ingredients to a very high standard presented beautifully on the plate for your enjoyment.

Our front of house staff, headed by supervisor Darren Jones, create just the right atmosphere of profesionalism with a personal touch, taking time to talk and get to know our customers.

We  have many customers who visit us repeatedly because of this personal touch and the sense of humor our staff have, ensuring they have a good time and are not just treated as numbers.
